Worked for 18 years at Johnson & Johnson in Canada, Brazil, and the United States, the latter as Vice President of R&D. In 1996, he joined Natura &Co, leading Innovation and R&D, where he led the development and launch in 2000 of a product line under the brand name Ekos, inspired by traditional knowledge and based on an innovative concept: the sustainable development of Brazilian biodiversity. The initiative was a commercial success and was also recognised as a benchmark by the World Bank, IFC, and UNCTAD, resulting in an invitation to attend COP 8 and COP 9 of the Convention on Biodiversity.

In 2009, in São Paulo, Brazil, he founded Inobi, a company active in the creation and development of sustainable brands. The concept of Resonance is at the essence of INOBI.Inspired by the physical principle of Resonance, at the core of his doctoral thesis on the study of molecular vibrations, the principle of Resonance reaches beyond that. It can be found as a fundamental element of String Theory, as expressed by Brian Greene in his book The Elegant Universe. It has also recently appeared in sociology as a central concept in our relationship with the world, as proposed by Helmut Rosa in his book Resonance.

His scientific background has proven to be a constant source of inspiration, and it continues to drive Phillippe in his studies, including his recent participation in the Collective Intelligence Symposium, organised by the Santa Fe Institute (SFI), the most advanced center specializing in the science of complexity.
